LOS ANGELES---Former L.A Magazine columnist has had a successful and nonstop career as a novelist. Next month Cobalt publishing will be releasing his newest novel, The Truth About Forests. The novel is a companion novel to the set of vignettes Blemishes.

Will this book also be told in a series of vignettes ?

Well, I decided to make this a straightforward novel that switches POV's from Sam to Adeline. With my last novel, not to ruin the ending but, the ending made it hard to keep all those vignettes and character narration. Also this book is more linear so I figured to make it a little more mainstream.

Are there going to be any twists ?

I think there are definatley some unexpected revelations but, I don't think there will be any real big twists, no. But, then again I don't know.

Will this be the last book for Sam and Adeline ?

I honestly don't know. I mean I don't really do the serial thing becuase . . . I don't know it's just not something I want to do maybe it's a commitment thing (laughs). But, like I said I don't know.
